A new decade, A new Adventure!!

I have recently been getting back into the game and hopefully will do a better job at keeping up with blogging at this level in my life...but who knows...no one hold their breath yet!! I have began the journey on youtube and instagram as the decades have moved into a new era of platforms and social media trends. I will link my socials on the blog as soon as i can get comfy enough wandering around the blogger again. i am relearning all the tech slowly. Feel free to leave a hello and let me know you are still around. Blessings all around.

Manic Monday!

I had one day free of appts this week.. I can't believe it! That has not happened to me in a long time--usually I am free most days!! Soo I filled Monday to make it all filled this week.. lol!! I made cards to put in the guild for next weekend!

Here is a doggie bathtime card!! I had sooo much fun designing this one!! I am SOOOO loving my DS!!! I am seeing myself with a Gypsy very very soon!! I will need for days like tomorrow sitting at the guild all day!! Hmmmmmm

This one is done using the design of the fancy fold pop up card found by searching that on Youtube! I had to get a wedding card done for my daughters friend at work who is getting married next month!! Wow-- I am for once ahead of the game!!

Cards made that never got posted...

Here are some cards that I created using inspiration from blogs that I visit from time to time!

Here I welded bits and pieces together using my new DS! How fun to experiment!

Here I used the heart corner punch as a circle border punch--love that technique and fun too!

Here is my first shaped card...it turnedo ut upside down and backwards from what I had intended--practice makes better!! Still very fun!

Here are a few more cards that I made while "away" from blogging! I hope you enjoy!

Returning from a Hiatus

Hi all ~ I have been MIA for a bit now.. ohh my almost 6 months it seems! WOW I wish I could say it was soo much fun that time flew that fast! I have had some medical issues and have been down here and there! I have also had PC issues in between those which has added to the "fun"!!
I have made a few "needed" cards in that time and will attempt to try to share those if my camera will cooperate!

Here are a couple that I made for my husbands doctors that he has had to see lately.

Oh oh oh--for Mother's Day I received Design Studio and had to play--Here is the second card that I did for the doc--I used my george cart and created a guitar since my husbands request was for a rocking guitar card for his male doc who is in a band. This is what i came up with following a card from Jeannie's blog using IA cart, which I don't have--YET! Sorry about the quality of the photo... my camera is being nasty!

Can the Flowers!

I have been anxious to use this watering can on my cricut! I love the flowers from K & Company! They are prepunched, so just punch out and layer up! I luv 'em!!!

Love is in the air....

I have been busy making valentines! Here are a few more to add to the scene!

A quick valentine...

..I say quick because I used items I had made previously that I have been holding on too for some time now and figured it was about time to clean house on the hoarded items! I used up my quilled flowers, some assembled punched flowers and a precuttlebugged greeting and prepunched MS border thanks to my friend, Sandy!! Thanks again Sandy!!

Vintage Valentines!

Well I thought I should try putting together some Valentine cards while dabbling with the Easter too! Here is an Adrienne/Mommy make and take...lol!

This is Adrienne's version of the vintage look! She wanted so to sit and create a card like mine to she followed a step behind and interpreted my doings in her own way! She did a wonderful job on her creation!

This last one is my take on the card! I have some serious competition, eh!

Hippity Hoppity...

Easter is on its way! I love love LOVE Easter! Like it's my next favorite holiday to Christmas! I love what it stands for and I loved celebrating it with my kids when they were little!! Playing the Easter bunny and all--leaving bunny tracks, hiding the eggs and filling baskets with yummy and fun things! I loved seeing their smiling and surprised faces as they lifted their lil heads and opened their eyes wide!
I was so excited about getting the new Easter cart that I got started right in:
Here are two to get me AND you all started. I hope you feel inspired!!

New Year, New Projects!

I am going to try to make a point of posting at least one ormore times a month on here... I am soo undisciplined and I am working on it!! Really I am!
Here are some neat "Treat Boxes" that I saw over at splitcoaststampers!
I made one in a theme to suit each of my girls!! They are soo fun to make I can see myself making many more of these for all occasions!!

Cards for a Dear Friend!

I have a dear friend that has been struggling with her health for a while now and she hired me to do card classes for a bit at her stamp shop a few years ago before closing up the doors now. She was real good to me as far as some nice deals on some of her inventory she had remaining and always lends me supplies/stamps when I ask. In return for using some of her stamps this past week-- she mentioned not having time to make any Christmas cards and I knew it wasn't just all about the time either --since her memory is leaving her and she is discombobulated most times now! I offered to make her however many cards she needed to send out to her family and friends this year! Here are the three that I repeated and created a gift package for her to send out:

These ornaments were inspired by an almost identical card created by someone on StampTV! It was a simple idea and I appreciated it so much I scraplifted it to mass produce! Thanks for the inspiration (Im sorry I cant remember the name).

This was another simple and easy card to mass produce with the cuttlebug and cricut to thank!

I used this real nice shiny blue paper for the snowflake too--I really love that paper!!!

I stamped this candle and colored with the magic colored pencil technique! It also was an easy one to mass produce with elegant results!!

Wow --share the new news!!

Well, I can see now exactly how long it's been since I last posted... shame on me!! I was sitting here this morning thinking it had been a little while--it sure has!
I have been very busy with the new school year starting and all. Some of you know, but for those who don't, I homeschool my girls and they keep me very busy! We have just finished volunteering at the State Fair for the week! That was soo fun--yet tiring! I managed to sell a few cards there in between the sour weather--yayyy!! That was uplifting!!
I also am honored to be spotlighted for the month of October as guest designer along side Jeannie Phillips, who is amazing at making the most beautiful cards!! She is one talented woman for sure! You can see more of her beauty HERE! I almost shriveled when she asked me to be her guest for the month of October! I have been out of commission on the card front for a short length of time (6 months or so) and I started getting in the groove of things again when my friend, Sandra Flake, bought a Cricut!! She called to share the news of hers and tell me all about the machine, when I surprised her by telling her that I already owned one and had had it for a year...lol!! I was inspired to get it chirping like crazy..and have been chirping regularly since! I love the support found at the MB on the Cricut website--this is how Jeannie found me! I am truly honored! Thanks for sharing a part of ME Jeannie, for the month of October!

Okay okay...More for September!
